    Weight: 11.5 oz

    Impact Guidance System (I.G.S.) (RUNNING)

ASICS Design Philosophy. Employs linked componentry that enhances the foot's natural gait from heel strike to toe-off.

    Guidance Line

Vertical flex groove decouples the tooling along the line of progression for enhanced gait efficiency.

    Space Trusstic System

This midfoot stabilizer creates a pocket between the Trusstic System device and the midsole, allowing for controlled midsole deformation and more efficient foot function.

    ComforDry Sockliner

Provides cushioning performance and anti-odor properties for a cooler, drier, healthier environment.

    Biomorphic Fit Upper

Stretch material strategically placed on the upper helps to reduce buckling and the potential for irritation.

    Asymmetrical Lacing Design

An anatomically correct lacing environment that reduces potential for irritation and provides improved comfort and fit.

    Discrete Eyelets

Independently placed eyelets disburse lace tension, creating a customized fitting environment and enhanced upper comfort.

  • 5 out of 5 I have run over 100 miles in a new pair of gel-nimbus 13's and I'm very pleased. These are to replace my gel-cumulus 13's which had been giving me grief (rubbing my toenails and causing blood blisters) on my long runs over 12 miles. Happy to say I've been on 4 runs of 14 miles or more with the gel-nimbus 13's and have had no problems. Good fit and good heel support. I'm a neutral/mild pronator. As with the gel-cumulus, I see the tread on the toe is wearing fast (I think I come off my toes strong, hence the toenail issue on my long runs)....My runs range from 4 to 18 miles for a total of about 30 miles/week. Typical splits ranges from 6:45 to 7:45/mile depending on length of run and size of hills.

  • 5 out of 5 My friend as a runner (not a professional) says that is the best asics shoes to the neutral pronation, after he raced the classic marathon from Marathon to Athens capital of Greece!

  • 4 out of 5 As always Asics makes a great product. I do care for the way the Gel-Nimbus 13's fit. They're to tight in the toe area and seem to be a bit heavy for a running shoe.

  • No noticable change from the Nimbus 12

  • 5 out of 5 Asics kept the Nimbus pretty much the same as last year with its latest redesign. In my opinion, that is a very good thing. Despite some of the marketing speak about the tweaks they made to this shoe, the Nimbus 13 feels exactly the same as the Nimbus 12. If you like the 12s and are ready for a new pair, go ahead and order these. The sizing, fit, and feel is identical. (Sizing based on the fact that my size didn't change at all. I think it is safe to assume that none of them did, if mine didn't.)

  • 5 out of 5 After 25 miles in this shoe, I can report that the lower leg/foot pains I was experiencing from running in shoes designed for Over-Pronators are gone. The shoes are light, attractive, and provide great arch support.

  • 5 out of 5 The Gel-Nimbus series of shoes are fantastic. My last 3 pairs of running shoes have been Nimbus 10s, 11s, and 12s. I find that this shoe gives my flat feet great support and comfort. I have the ability to do both sprints and long distance runs with ease. These shoes last me exactly 6 months of grueling exercise and then I just buy another pair and do the same thing. I highly recommend this shoe to anyone who suffers the same flat footed running addiction as I do.

  • 5 out of 5 I have been running in the asics cumulus for years and decided to try the Nimbus 13 since the store was out of my size. I have found a running shoe. This shoe is light, comfortable and still provide the support I need for running.
