Brooks Adrenaline GTS 14

The most popular girl in school is about to be even more popular. For the Adrenaline’s 14th iteration, modernization took center stage. The upper is made of 3D Fit Print, a no-sew material that was first used in the Glycerin. Think of it as the ultimate no-itch, no-stitch fit. Moving to the outsole, Brooks removed the plastic TPU shank, which means the shoe now sports lateral ground contact. What does this mean for you? Silky smooth transitions from heel to toe.

Features
  • Weight: 11.3 ounces
  • Brooks DNA promises customized cushioning
  • Progressive Diagonal Rollbar (PDRB) progressively slows overpronation
  • DRB Accel is a shank-like thermoplastic device that provides torsional rigidity so the foot doesn't twist excessively
  • Flextra in the forefoot outsole provides tuned flexibility
  • HPR Plus on the outsole wears longer than standard rubber
  • Caterpillar Crash Pad smoothes transitions
  • Omega Flex Grooves help the shoe work with the foot
  • 3D Fit Print upper quells irritation
  • Element Mesh wicks away moisture
  • Internal Support Saddle keeps the foot stable

My favorite shoe. I need medial suppport which these shoes do provide. Durrable and comfortable. Fourth pair in two years. Not because they wear out. I just like this shoe.

    • Support shoe, not a cushion shoe

Usually run in Asics Kayano or Mizuno Inspire (5' 8", 145, 25 - 33 miles/wk). Had these for 4 months. Excellent support, average cushioning (you will not mistake these for a cushion shoe), sole wear is superior. Took about 35 miles to feel broken in. No issues, just a very different feel to what I was used to running in.

I am 5’ 9” tall and weigh 165 pounds. I run around 30 to 40 miles per week. Because I have flat arches, I always look for a running shoe that will support my arches and help stabilize my foot as I run. This is my 3rd pair of Brooks running shoes and they are the best, so far. They run true to size, are very light, and a perfect fit.
