Brooks DNA is a groundbreaking, patent-pending cushioning material that provides a customized ride for runners of all sizes and speeds. Working with BioMoGo, Brooks DNA responds to your every step, dispersing impact and providing ideal comfort and protection as the pace and surface change.
Brooks has taken the long-lasting cushioning of its MoGo midsole and made it more environmentally friendly. A nontoxic, natural additive in the BioMoGo compound encourages anaerobic microbes to munch away 50 times faster once it hits an active, enclosed landfill.
Independent, medial-lateral Pivot Posts are shaped to minimize ground contact surface area, reducing the destabilizing effect of trail irregularities.
Ballistic Rock Shield
Toughened thermoplastic EVA sheath between the outsole and midsole protects the forefoot by spreading out point loads from sharp objects.
Caterpillar Crash Pad
This segmented crash pad customizes the individual's lay down with just the right amount of cushion and stabilization, giving the runner a smooth heel to toe transition.
This durable and long-wearing outsole compound is made with dispersing silica, resulting in premium wet-dry traction for excellent skid-resistance and a more environmentally friendly composition.
Engineered Cush Pod Configuration
Midsole and outsole components are engineered to set the foot in an efficient, balanced position from heel strike to toe-off, offering maximum cushioning and flexibility.
Upper technology featuring superior microfiber construction to provide a light, supple, quiet fabric that offers breathability, durability and comfort.
Don’t just get in touch with nature while you run. Support it by wearing the Cascadia. This trail shoe is one of the most eco-friendliest on the market. The construction of this style combines environmentally friendly materials, like the Brooks BioMoGo biodegradable midsole, with the brand’s most notable technologies like Brooks DNA and Hydroflow systems. Tackle tough terrains with a medial forefoot pivot post that has four points of contact for supreme traction. Enjoy a snug, comfortable fit with plenty of cushion and added stability. Reduce your carbon footprint with every step you take.

Fits my wide foot
I usually have to wear a wide but these shoes fit perfectly. They last forever and this is my third pair.
It doesn't get better than this!

I'm a ultra runner and adventure racer and wear these shoes every time. They are amazing. My whole adventure racing team also bought them off my word and LOVE them!! They thank me everytime they wear them. There is no break in stage with these. I own 5 pair and rotate them out often b/c I run through creeks and mud daily. I normally wear a size 9 in running shoes, and I ordered these in a 9.5. I'm extremely picky about running shoes!!!! It doesn't get any better than this!
I do love these shoes! My only problem with them is that they slip on wet concrete sometimes-very slick! But the fit is fantastic and the comfort is great!

Love these shoes! These are the first pair of Brooks I have bought and now will never buy any other pair. They do not have to much cushion which I love!
I love this shoe!
This is my third generation Cascadia and it's the best yet! I really liked the improvements in fit (seems to have a slightly wider fit in the toe) along but otherwise is exactly what I expected the Cascadia to be. I run 5-6 times per week between 5 and 15 miles per run and the Cascadia doesn't let me down!
One of the best shoes I have ever owned! I purchased them for daily wear not for running or training. I am now wearing them for all three. If you have a bunion you will never know it with this shoe!
