    Brooks DNA

Brooks DNA provides custom cushioning for runners of all types and sizes. Engineered from what's called a non-Newtonian liquid, this midsole technology responds to the amount of force placed on the foot and disperses the pressure, providing just the right amount of resiliency. Simply put, you can expect soft comfort when you want it, firm support when you need it.

BioMoGo is the world's first-ever biodegradable midsole for running shoes. It is a non-toxic, natural additive to the MoGo compound that encourages anaerobic microbes to munch away once it hits an active enclosed landfill. Traditional Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) midsoles can last up to 1,000 years in a landfill. BioMoGo’s microbial munch rate is 50 times faster, biodegrading nutrients into reusable byproducts. Over the course of, say, 20 to 25 years or so, Brooks alone can save 29.9 million pounds of landfill waste. For you pigskin fans out there, that equals 1,277 football fields covered one shoe deep!

    DRB Accel

Shank-like thermoplastic device provides torsional rigidity to midfoot, enhancing support while allowing the heel and forefoot to act independently.

    Caterpillar Crash Pad

This segmented crash pad customizes the individual's lay down with just the right amount of cushion and stabilization, giving the runner a smooth heel to toe transition.

    HPR Plus

A higher durability, abrasion-resistant rubber outsole compound that wears longer.

  • 5 out of 5 I received these as a gift about a month ago and couldn't be happier. They keep my feet from feeling heavy, which of course keeps me going longer. At the gym, they've attracted a bit of attention and been a conversation piece. Thank you!

  • 5 out of 5 I have been searching for a "neutral plus" shoe that would provide sufficient cushioning and durability for my long runs while being light and flexible. I finally found that shoe in the Glycerin 9! The Glycerin 8 was okay, but I found it a bit stiff and the toebox a bit too narrow. These issues seem to have been addressed in the Glycerin 9. I LOVE IT! Thank you, Brooks!

  • I miss the Glycerin 7's

  • 4 out of 5 I like this product but there will never be another glycerin 7. I think that was the perfect running shoe. It is comfortable, cushiony, airy, and fits great. I have bad feet and a fractured sesamoid bone and this is the only trainer that I am able to run in with the least amount of pain. The Glycerin 8's were just plain awful and the 9's have improved some.

  • 5 out of 5 My 9's just came in the mail today! [...] I was excited! They looked better than I thought they would and they run great! I laced them up and went on the mile or so run to the gym, spent about 2 hours at the gym to break them in and ran back! They are awesome. It's really rocky and dusty here and they kept up just fine. Great traction and there's a major bounce in your step when you run with these. I didn't want to stop working out. These are pretty epic.

  • 5 out of 5 I usually wear the Adrenaline, but I kept wearing out the outside of the shoe too quickly. This shoe feels like it will correct that problem. So far, so good.
