Men's Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12

I am 79 and have been running in the Huntsman Senior Games in St. George Utah for the past 5 years and have won several gold metals with the brooks running shoes.

Novice runner, started training for a full marathon with different pair of shoes and started developing knee pain and Achilles tendon issues about half way through my training. I have flat feet and am a definite over-pronator so needed a shoe with more support. Finally bit the bullet and got these since they were recommended by my local running store. Within 2-3 weeks of running with these my knee and achilles issues were resolved. I could feel a huge difference in terms of support and cushioning. My stride improved and even my time got a bit faster. They have already got me through my first half marathon and hoping they can help me accomplish the full in a few weeks. Have put a lot of miles on these so far and they look and feel like new. Did take a few weeks to break in but not unlike any other quality running shoe. Overall, highly recommended.

I am a larger guy so often I find it hard to find a shoe that can take the pounding that my body puts on it. These shoes cushion great and are very comfortable. I have noticed less knee and ankle pain also. I would highly recomend this for someone who needs the cushioning. This is my third pair of brooks and as long as they keep it up I will keep coming back.

I am a recreational athlete that runs 20-30 miles per week. I have been running in the adrenalines since the 8th edition. Great: Overall, it's the typical Brooks shoe that we support people love. The heel feels like it has some added cushion from the 11s. Aren't so great: I have some tenderness in my feet, ankles, knees, and quads after running in these shoes whether it be 3 miles or more. I can tell there is a lack of forefoot cushioning and the forefoot is definitely less flexible than previous models. I ran again in my 11s and didn't have any pain at all. The shoes feel like they run a tad bit smaller than usual too. Maybe it's just me. I typically buy 2 trainers a year and will likely switch to something else toward the end of the year. This doesn't break me on Brooks as I love this shoe but I hope the 13s have some improvements that fit my foot well. But what can you say, you can't please everyone?! Still a great shoe!

This is first pair of Brooks shoes I have owned and I am truly amazed by them. There are only 17 miles on the shoes and they only seem to improve the more I wear them. If I have any complaints, they have to do with the cushioning and the heel fit. The complaints are minor and may be a result of just breaking them in, hence the five stars. The shoes feel incredibly light, yet provide the pronation control they promise.

Wow! What a difference a good shoe can make! As a beginning runner, I just went to my local sports store and picked up a pair of Nike running shoes that fit well. Within 2 months, I sustained bursitis of the knee which put me out of commission for 2 weeks. The ortho never mentioned that it could be my shoes--just that the injury was from overuse. Fast forward a couple more months and mild knee pain returned. I google'd and discovered that this pain could be a result from improper shoes (albeit running shoes). I located a store specializing in running shoes only and had a "video" fitting whereby they record your gait on a computer and recommend a proper running shoe. They offered a Saucony, K-Swiss and Brooks. The Brooks felt the best--like walking on a cloud, but provided excellent support for my pronation. Long story short, knee pain is completely gone and these shoes feel great. Highly recommend to try if you're experiencing knee pain.
