      Brooks DNA provides custom cushioning for runners of all types and sizes. Engineered from what's called a non-Newtonian liquid, this midsole technology responds to the amount of force placed on the foot and disperses the pressure, providing just the right amount of resiliency. Simply put, you can expect soft comfort when you want it, firm support when you need it.

      BioMoGo

      BioMoGo is the world's first-ever biodegradable midsole for running shoes. It is a non-toxic, natural additive to the MoGo compound that encourages anaerobic microbes to munch away once it hits an active enclosed landfill. Traditional Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) midsoles can last up to 1,000 years in a landfill. BioMoGo’s microbial munch rate is 50 times faster, biodegrading nutrients into reusable byproducts. Over the course of, say, 20 to 25 years or so, Brooks alone can save 29.9 million pounds of landfill waste. For you pigskin fans out there, that equals 1,277 football fields covered one shoe deep!

    • 5 out of 5 Man I say these shoes are like "the" best shoes I have ever had the pleasure to run in. At first I was skeptical, but then my friend told me just to run in them for like a mile or so, i ended up not coming back for another hour or so. I love ghost 4!

    • 4 out of 5 I'm a CC (cross county) runner that runs anywhere from 10 miles every morring and up to 16 miles a day recently i gave up my Saucony kinvana running shoes that i have ran for some time in for the Brooks DNA ghost 4 and wished i would have made the switch a long time ago. The thing about the Brooks Ghost 4 is that not only does it have great support and trackshine but the fact that is confortble enof to be able to put in those long miles for example, the first day i got these shoes i decide to go for an easy 8 mile run but ended up running an 10 mile run with a 6:30 mile pace.So if you havent relized this yet im trying to recomend you this shoe(; P.s i only gave this shoe 4 stars because of the fact i only had it for a short time.

    • 4 out of 5 I have run in all 4 versions of the ghost. I loved the ghost 1 and 2 because they felt very responsive and flexible. The 3's felt drastically different to me and like they lost a lot of that responsiveness and were a little bit more rigid. The 4's seem to be a balance between the two. I definitely feel the road a lot more than I did on the 3's, and they feel like a much faster shoe. I gave it a 4 because I still prefer the first two models over this model. However, the ghost is still my favorite shoe to run in.

    • 4 out of 5 I really like the Ghost 4. They have great support, but still give a good feel of the road. I've logged many miles and they still feel like they could go for more. They're great on the road and pretty decent at gripping on trails.

    • 4 out of 5 Just got these shoes and already hit the tread mill with them. The only reason I did not give this shoe 5 stars is because they are a little heavier than I am used to. I primarily weight train so I do not run a ton of miles but enjoy a quality shoe on cardio day. Thanks for the great shoe Brooks!

    • 5 out of 5 Was a loyal Adrenaline fan for years then tried the Ghost and was hooked and am on my fouth pair. They are light, have a great transition and are fast. Excellent balance between speed and cushioning.
