For distance runners and those new on the path to barefoot running, Merrell's Bare Access 0mm drop running shoe gives you a barefoot feel, with added toe to heel cushioning. Still allowing your foot to land flat and follow its own natural motion, its cushioning protects from sustainedimpacts due to longer runs or a new barefoot training program.

- Barefoot strobel construction offers flexibility and comfort
- Synthetic leather and mesh upper
- Reflective details for increased visibility in low light
- Visible mesh lining treated with Aegis® antimicrobial solution resists odor
- Integrated footbed with 2mm EVA to cushion

I have had these for about 3 weeks now and love them. At first I felt that they weren't "barefoot" enough for me but after a short period of time, and changing my running technique, I was very wrong. I have slowly been building up the strength in my calves to extend my runs. TAKE YOUR TIME! At first I was so excited and ended up being so sore I had to take three days off. They are incredibly comfortable and still give you that minimalist running experience. -Satisfied Customer

I bought this shoe after looking extensively at the Vibram brand. This is the MOST COMFORTABLE shoe I have ever owned. I will admit, I do not run much, as these reviews mostly talk about. I extensively use the shoe for daily use, walking, and canoeing. For the average joe, looking for a good summer shoe....THIS IS IT! Wear it with socks, barefoot, walking, work, canoeing, running, hiking. The sole is extremely comfortable and the front of shoe is wider for great toe movement. Couldn't ask for anything better from Merrell!

Better than I expected, which is excellent based on past Merrell shoes I've worn. Plenty of wiggle room in the toe with an overall good fit. Probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned.
Great for running and everyday use too!
