How did Pearl Izumi improve their best selling shoe? They started by incorporating their new bonded Seamless Upper construction into the uppper to improve the fit and feel. The new syncroFule Road II provides mild pronation control and excellent cushioning for the runner training for their next race.

About Pearl Izumi
- Pearl Izumi designs shoes for a rare breed of individuals called runners. Are runners an endangered species? Whether its track or trail runners, Pearl Izumi believes so. That's why its shoes aren't just made to look good but to go fast. The Japanese-based company all started when a father set out to provide his son the best gear for bicycle racing. The brand made its way stateside in the early 80s providing sponsorship dollars to bike teams. Nowadays, Pearl Izumi builds products for many high-endurance sports including cross-country skiing, triathlon, running, and, of course, cycling.

The best running shoes I've ever had. Better than any New Balance, Adidas or Saucony. Simply put, get these before any other. Also, the looks are great!

I have been wearing Pearl Izumi shoes for over four years and am amazed at the comfort and durability of these shoes. I am currently wearing the SyncroFuel style for my interval running training and it feels like running on air. They're light as a feather. Not only are they functional but they look good too. I get many compliments on how nice they look. They also seem to be water repellent, at least in my case. Worth every penny.

I bought this shoe in my normal size but had to literally squeeze my foot into it. I m waiting for the next size up to ship to me. Be forewarned, this ran at least a half size small for me.
