This shoe effortlessly blends a minimal design and superior cushioning. The low heel/toe drop combined with the new powergrid really is innovative. The shoe feels like you get a tremendous energy return as well. It promotes a forefoot strike but forgives the heel striker looking to transition to the mid or forefoot. I can't really comment on the durability except to say that the outsole appears more robust than the kinvara or mirage, so you might get more miles out of these. Overall, a brilliant novel approach to melding minimalism with cushioning.

Was looking for a lighter weight trainer for everyday use. Have had the shoes for a month or so and log 20-25 miles per week. I wanted something a little more durable with low drop as i love my Kinvaras. So far the ride is similar to the Kinvara with more cushioning, but not too much. Durability seems to be greater and looks like it will fit the bill. Considering these as a Marathon training shoe and maybe even a Marathon race shoe. So far so good. The only complaint is the tongue does seem to ride low and slip to the side after a few miles, nothing that i notice during the run just prefer it if the tongue would stay straight.

This is a great shoe with a low heel to toe drop. I was looking for something with good cushioning for long runs and runs on concrete sidewalks, but with some minimalist qualities. The cushioning is excellent. My only gripe is that I think this shoes would benefit from a rounder toe box. The fit seems okay as far as length when first trying them on, but I'm getting blisters on the outside of my big toes, the other toes are getting a little raw at the tips, and I've noticed that the front of my foot does seem to bulge a little in the front sides. There is just not much room for the foot to spread. Because of this I have said that the shoe runs 1/2 size small and slightly narrow (and removed one star overall). 1/2 a size bigger may help, but I haven't had a chance to get to a store to see how much of a difference there is.
