Men's Saucony Hattori

Most comfortable shoes ever! Have two pairs and it is as close to barefoot as it gets. Use them as fashion and in the gym.

First off, I want to say that these shoes are super comfortable for walking and are a great lightweight summer alternative to flip flops. They are easy to slip on and go. I actually enjoyed wearing them around more than running in them. When I saw the red, black, white and fluorescent green version on the internet, I didn't like the color combo. As it turns out, I really like the look of them in person, and hey, if you don't dig these colors, there are plenty of other choices.

These are great they increased my time some the first time out. I am very happy with them all around. In fact I got my neice a pair for her to run with for her team. Thanks for a great product.

I've had a pair of Hattori's for a bit over a month. To tell the truth I haven't done very much running in them. Mostly because when I have my right foot gets rubbed raw on my inside foot where the outlay creases. Also since I have other road shoes & my barefeet to run roads in I haven't gotten around to using some foot lube to ease the rubbing. I'm hoping that will help and once it starts to get a little cooler I'll get some mileage in them. For as thin as the upper is it seems to hold heat pretty well.

I bought these shoes just to race 5Ks in and I occassionally do speed work in them. The shoe helps my foot strike the ground naturally while the weight keeps my heels coming up high. Thank goodness you guys finally make them in normal colors. : ) It is also a great shoe for in the gym. It makes your lower leg work twice as hard as stiffer shoes.

The primary question I've asked myself for the last year is "Can I use an ultra-minimal running shoe as a daily trainer?" With the Hattori's, the answer is clearly yes. HOTN's experiences below and the light construction of the Hattori's make me a little concerned about the durability of these shoes. I'll find out over the next 12 months how they hold together and will update that experience, In the meantime, I don't want to run in anything else.

Having been in a near fatal car crash in 2008, I wear the Hattori now in an attempt to re-teach my toes how to function properly for balance. I was in a wheelchair in 08 &09, and thus, my body forgot how to properly work. I now wear Hattori on my daily walks to re-teach my body proper balance and create the illusion of walking barefoot. I fully believe this is working!
