DESCRIPTION
Designed to give you exactly and only what you need, the Kinvara 2 features a lower heel-to-toe ratio that’s built to serve your natural stride. The sole is an ultra-lightweight, durable foam and the grooves cut into the sole (or “siping”) are flat instead of curved. This provides just a shade more stability, which can really matter during the end stages of a run. The upper is a mono-filament mesh that, though incredibly light and breathable, always keeps out the dirt and stones. It’s all completed with a foam heel collar for a snug performance fit.
Features
Heel ProGrid LITE
Saucony's lightest version of ProGrid absorbs impact, dissipates shock and sets the foot up for a smooth transition. It's 20 percent more responsive than EVA and continues to provide great cushioning.
High Abrasion EVA (EVA+)
Saucony's extremely lightweight grade of EVA with cushioning and durability.
XT-900
XT-900 is a carbon rubber outsole material that offers exceptional traction properties without sacrificing durability.

Rather run in this shoe...
Customer Rating
I rather run in this shoe than any other shoe I have. It is a very comfortable shoe to run in.
Perfect Minimalist Shoe
Customer Rating
I got this shoe to help me get into natural running. I was actually running in my racing flats for every run before I bought these but my flats still had about an 11mm heel-toe drop.
The 4mm heel-toe drop makes 'transitioning' to natural running a breeze because when your mid-foot plants your calf/achilles isn't engaged to it's max as with 0-drop or barefoot running. I run 60 miles a week in these and actually raced a 10k in them - for lack of a lighter racer. Great response and stability from the light last. I am anticipating the durability to be average when compared to thicker/heavier trainers but rather good compared to others in its category.
Greatly recommend to all runners looking to get into a more natural and far more efficient way to run.
Simply the best shoe I've ever run in
Customer Rating
I run about 50-60 km a week, so I put a fair bit of mileage on my shoes. I'd jumped around with shoes for the last while, and bought the Kinvara 2s on a whim. The first few runs in them were fine, but now that I've past the 100 km mark and have broken them in, I'm absolutely a believer. They're the lightest, form fitting shoe I've ever owned that doesn't skimp on cushioning. It's so light and comfortable, it's almost like wearing a sock! I'm certain to buy second pair in the months to come.
A great shoe, without question.
LOVE THEM
Customer Rating
I just bought these shoes today. After hearing good things about them from friends and wearing other Saucony styles, I figured I'd give them a try and see how they match up with my running style. I absolutely love these shoes. They are the most comfortable pair of running shoes I've owned...and probably the brightest (Yellow / Green). I would recommend these to any and every Neutral runner.

Great price, great quality, great shoe.

loved my Kinvara's, and picked up the Kinvara 2's last week. I am about 40 miles into them now and have absolutely zero complaints. They fit the same as the ones, feel fast off the toe, and if what everyone is saying is true they may even be a little more durable. A little more width through the toe box for splay would be nice, but other than that its perfection.
