Men's Saucony Kinvara TR

Pleased all the way around with these shoes. I like the fit, the feel, the color, and the style. I have used them off road on sand and hard-packed dirt, and on asphalt and concrete. Done several 3 to 4 mile runs with no feet problems at all. I bought them a half size larger than my normal size based on other reviews and they fit perfectly. Great shoe, great price.

Bought these after running in my Kinvara 3's. Purchased the same size and they fit like a glove out of the box. Feels much like the Kinvara 3 when running if you hit with a proper mid foot strike, just a little more underfoot for the trails. Very grippy, never had a traction problem. Couldn't be happier.

just got them. I will be returning as they are too tight in the toebox. I wear Kinvara 2s size 13 and love them. I think Size 14 would be a bit big in other areas. I don't know why they changed things up? I will try peregrines or the new Xodus with the 4mm heel toe drop in hopes they work. Generally satisfied with saucony. the foot is grippy, but i want them to work well for Tough Mudder and am concerned about traction in mud the the grips are lower profile.

They're what I expected of a trail minimal shoe - adequate support over rocks, good grip, more cushion than I expected, and great feel of the trail with nice style and good fit consistent with all other Saucony shoes I own. They run a slight bit narrow, but I have a narrow foot so not a big concern for me personally. These are my first minimal shoes of any kind, and I really like them. I wear them on a trail that has some hills and they feel great going up and down as well as the flats. I try not to wear them on the road much but for a mile here and there they're definitely comfortable on my way to/from the trail, too.

I picked up a pair of the Kinvara TR having run in the Kinvara 2 for the last four months. With no break in period I raced a 13km trail race in super wet and muddy conditions. The shoes were great. The grip was good on the climbs and handled clay and wet rocks well. The light weight and low profile sole has a really connected feel. For anyone who enjoys trail runs where you can open it up the light weight and great feel provide a great ride.

I have been wearing Kinvara's since the first edition. I was eager to order the Kinvara TR's when they came out (which was later than Saucony claimed). I finally got them, wore them for a 10 mi trail race (after wearing them once on the road), and received two blisters for the first time in two years. They run much more narrow in the toebox than the road Kinvara. The grip is questionable on wet trails. They do not breathe very well, which could be due to the fact that I'm used to wearing Kinvara 1's and 2's which breathe excellently. I'm sure that they are more durable with the more rugged upper, so I see where the lack of breathability was weighed in on the design. Overall: -Shoe is not bad -Durability is good -Grip is lacking
