Men's Saucony Ride 4

Importantly, these shoes come in wide, are light and neutral. As a man (5' 11" and 210) in his mid sixties who walks 20 plus miles a week on a treadmill, at a vigorous pace for me, these shoes are absolutely outstanding. Previously, with some other brands (Asics and New Balance) the bottom of my feet and shins were in pain. It took me only an hour to break these in. The cushioning on the heel is excellent and there is sufficient room on the toes. They are very similar to Brooks Glycerin 9. I have heard walking puts more of a pounding on your feet than running. If that is factual then they get an A. I am now a Saucony devotee.

I have been running in the "Ride" model for sometime now and this is a nice improvement from the Ride 3 in regards to heel cushioning (not that the Ride 3 wasn't an awesome shoe). Saucony does a great job of tweaking their proven shoes. The Ride 4 is simply the best cushioned everyday trainer you can buy for your money.

The Pro Grid as always been a great shoe for runners seeking a well cushioned training shoe for daily running. The key features are comfort and fit and Saucony evolved the upper to make the fit even more plush. With a snug heel and broad opened forefoot with more ergonomic overlays. version 4 weighs less and is more flexible. This shoe is so comfortable I've been able to wear it with no socks.

I've tried all of the different running shoes, and I always go back to Saucony. I have never had any issues with hot spots, blisters, pain or anything with any pair of Sauconys I have ever bought. With the other brands there always seems to be some issue of discomfort. I finally decided to get properly fitted and this pair is what we decided on. They are great. Just got them and I have put in about 20 miles. Couldn't be happier with them. They feel awesome and are cool to look at. Great Job again Saucony!

I bought this shoe because the store at the time didnt have this other brand. I tried it on and ran on the tread mill and it was good. I have put about 15 miles on them and so far they feel great. My foot doesnt get sore and the ball of my foot has just enough cushion. If you are a neutral shoe person then I would recommend this shoe.
