  • 4 out of 5 I have tried many types of hydration devices while training for my first half marathon. I've tried the handheld water bottles (the sloshing and switching between hands drove me crazy), as well as a backpack (bounced all over the place). This by far has been the easiest and least annoying to use. I love the quick release of the bottles and the valve that allows you to get a quick drink without having to squeeze the bottle or spend breathing energy sucking the liquid out. I use Gu Brew or Gatorade in my flasks and the 16 oz amount is perfect for a 1-2 hour run, even in higher temperatures. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I wish it held more in the pouch. My iphone AND gels didn't fit. Also, the first time I used it, I put it over a pair of running tights and a performance t-shirt. The materials were slippery and I found myself adjusting the belt down over my hips multiple times as I ran. It rode up around my waist and bunched up my shirt. A better choice of less-slippy clothing solved this problem. The pack stayed down much better, and I didn't have to adjust it as much. It does run small. I am 5'8" and 130 lbs female and wear a size 4-6. I ordered a small which when I first tried it on, I thought it would be too small. But, with some stretching and getting it in the right location on my hips it fit very snug, but is supposed to, so that it doesn't ride up or bounce. My husband is 6'2" and 180 lbs and uses a medium. Again, fits very snug on him but has to so the belt doesn't move around while running. Overall a great product and I would recommend it to anyone who runs 5-15 miles on their training runs.

  • 5 out of 5 This belt fits as described, comfortable and does not get in the way of your running. I can fit my iphone and at least 2 gel packs in the front pocket. I use the bottles for water which has been sufficient for up to 10 mile unassisted runs. Very comfortable to wear it and highly recommend it.

  • 5 out of 5 I am very pleased with this belt. The quality is far superior than I expected. It is nonobtrusive and very functional. The cut in the back is perfectly designed to allow the bottles to rest on the small of your back. My only recommendation for first time buyers is that you study the description of the sizes well before making a selection. It is intended to rest on your hips but can also be worn at the waist. So don't expect it to fit your hips if you purchased one based solely on your waist size. Otherwise, its a great product!

  • 4 out of 5 I just got the belt and am very pleased. Perfect for those who run for two hours or less (they have a four flask version for almost the same price). Pocket in front is great for your keys or ID card and plenty of room for 2 or 3 gel packs. Bottles are easy to reach and easy to put back and do not "jiggle." Flask has a generous fluid flow with a light squeeze. All in all, a very good hydration solution at a reasonalbe price. Only issue you may have is if you have a 36" waist (like I do). That puts you square in between a medium and a large. The medium will work, but it seems as though I am pushing the limit. So if you are a 36" waist and assume you will be losing inches than definately go for the medium.

  • 5 out of 5 Wore this waist pack in a trail 50K and really liked it. Pouch and water flasks don't hold enough food and liquid for really long, unsupported runs but for just a couple hours they are great. Relatively small size of flasks mean that even filled there is not too much weight or bouncing. Pack seems to move least when it's on your hips so I agree with other reviewers that you should get the size that fits your hips, not waist.

  • 4 out of 5 I am new to running and bought this to have water handy if I needed it/and to carry small items as needed. I don't run much more than 3 miles at a time, but like to have water avail if I need it. It is very lightweight and breathable and fits comfortably. I wear mine right at the hipbones and find that it does run slightly small but I didn't need to order one outside of my measurements. I wear the waterbottles to the back and the pouch on the front and have no problems accessing the bottles and putting them back. No spillage yet. The pocket in front is very small with room for a single key (there is a small clip for that), an id, and a medium-small cell phone. The whole pack is closed by velcro. While it has held fairly well for the first couple times that I have used it, I am not sure how well the velcro will hold up over time. Will it lose its holding power? Quite possible especially since the pack is fairly snug. Overall, it is good enough for what I use it for. But if you run longer distances or want to hold more items, you may want to consider a slightly larger pack or one where the bottles and the storage pack are together (either both in front, or both in back).
