  • 4 out of 5 Amazing shoe! Needed to up the ante as I trained for my first 1/2 marathon and my wife recommended I try a NB shoe (had been a stickler for Nike for years). I must say, this is one of the most comfortable shoes around. Went to a store where they measure your foot on a computer to get the RIGHT shoe. It truly does make a difference.

  • 3 out of 5 After 3 months, the sole on the left shoe completely separated from the shoe. Ridiculously poor quality. 2 stars for quality, 5 stars for comfort. I would buy again because of the perfect fit and comfort, and because New Balance is replacing them for me.

  • 5 out of 5 I weigh 210 lbs. and these sneakers are very supportive without being overly rigid. I have no knee pain after running 5 to 10 miles. I am on my second pair. Very good!

  • 5 out of 5 Bought these for my boyfriend after a running expert recommended them based on his foot and running style (he has very wide feet). He loves them - there was no period of "breaking them in", they were instantly comfortable and provided great support. My favorite part? They actually look really great too! Now only if he'd get rid of the old (ugly) running shoes.

  • 4 out of 5 Nice shoe! I was sized for about 6 different shoes at a local running store and this shoe felt the best. I admittedly sometimes don't untie my shoes and try to slip them on. The back is a little weaker than I would like. I usually wear a size 12 but the 13 fit me well.

About New Balance 759

  • The New Balance 759 running shoe is a neutral trainer for those with normal arches. Light in weight and simple in design, the 759 keeps discomfort at bay by providing a sufficient amount of cushioning. This cushioning strikes a happy balance between being too firm or soft, which is perfect for those ultra-competitive marathons and relaxed jogs around the park. Plan to go completely off-road? Rely on the 759's aggressive outsole to keep you on track, even if an off-trail adventure is inevitable.

About New Balance

New Balance collage Over a century ago, New Balance started manufacturing arch supports. Just 70 years later, it has become one of the foremost leaders in sports apparel and footwear. Even before branching out into shoes and athletic gear, it was dedicated to satisfying the needs of the everyday athlete. Known worldwide for its attention to fit, it provides shoes in an extensive range of widths and sizes. The company adheres to the belief that the better the fit, the better the performance. Maintaining five manufacturing facilities in the United States, New Balance continues to meet and exceed its time-tested quality standards.

Having the right fit is essential to performing your best, no matter what your activity. That's why New Balance offers the majority of their shoes in multiple widths, from narrow (2A) to extra-extra-wide (6E). New Balance is the only manufacturer to offer so many width options, ensuring you the best possible fit.

Women's Shoe Widths
4A 2A B D 2E 4E
X-Narrow Narrow Medium Wide X-Wide XX-Wide

Men's Shoe Widths
2A B D 2E 3E 4E 6E
X-Narrow Narrow Medium Wide Wide X-Wide XX-Wide

What size are you?

  • In general, the regular Men's width is "D"; for Women, the regular width is "B".If the majority of shoes you own, or have purchased in the past, fit adequately, these are the widths you should select.
  • If the shoes you own tend to feel overly spacious in width, you should consider selecting a narrower width size. If the shoes you own tend to feel noticeably narrow or snug, then you should consider selecting a wider width size.
  • If your feet seem "between" sizes and you cannot decide which size to select, we suggest you choose the larger size. You can make adjustments for a better fit with socks, insoles, or a different lacing pattern.
  • Since feet always swell during the day, we encourage you to try shoes on later in the day when your feet are at their largest.

Sizing Tips:

  • With respect to feel, your heel should fit snug with no slipping; the midfoot of the shoe under your arch and over the top of your foot should be snug but not tight; and you should have enough room in the toe box to wiggle your toes.
  • People are more than twice as likely to buy a shoe that is too small than too big. Clues that your shoes are too small or narrow include - foot cramping or "falling asleep" while running or just after running or the formation of blisters and calluses between or on your toes.
  • New Balance shoes are made to fit directly out of the box. They do not need to be broken in.
  • Feet typically get bigger with age. We encourage you to have your feet measured every year.
  • Women's feet often become a half-size (or more) larger after pregnancy.
  • Your left and right feet may differ in length or width as much as a full size. Be sure to measure and try shoes on both feet, and always buy shoes to fit your larger foot.

New Balance earned their position as the leader in Total Fitâ„¢ by offering more fit combinations than any other footwear company. In addition to shoe length and width, they use a shoe last. A shoe last is a 360 degree model of the foot used to create each shoe's heel width, instep height, toe box width and toe box depth. Though it's not the primary factor, in conjunction with length and width, the shoe last helps you achieve the best possible fit.
