The cake impressed the wedding guests of couple Sara and Adam MacDowell in July 2009. As most of the groomsmen were avid runners, the wedding party especially enjoyed its frosted goodness. The tasty piece of artwork was crafted by Sweet Impressions, which is run by a husband and wife duo in central Louisiana.

“The shoe was modeled after the shoe he was running in at the time, the Brooks Glycerin,” writes Mrs. MacDowell. “He often wears Brooks, though he sometimes changes between the specific shoes.
