I absolutely love these shoes! It's like floating on air. I stand for a living on concrete flooring for 10 hours a day and with out a doubt these are the greatest shoes I've ever gotten. My feet do not hurt and swell after a full day of work.

"i use these for running as an alternative to my vibram 5 fingers for longer runs and colder weather running. the tragedy is that now that there is some snow on the ground, i am not able to wear them without my feet getting wet."

Just had my first run on these shoes after they arrived yesterday. The shoes were very light, almost like wearing slippers (without the weigh down feel). Also, just as important is that the toe box was roomy and comfortable. My other running shoes were US size 10. But for this one, I got US 10.5. And I'm glad I did. The slightly extra room meant that my longest toe would not crash against the internal wall of the shoe during long distance runs when the feet tend to expand especially during hot and humid weather. Another point to note is that the orange fabric felt very comfy to the toes as compared to the other shoes that I own. Lastly, the only thing that I probably need to get used to is the flat sole. It felt thinner than my Asics Tarther Blitz (7-oz). Then again, the reduced weight and greater comfort the Mizuno Wave Universe provides kinda makes it the shoe for me on race day

I love these shoes. They are the super light. If you are looking for anything with any kind of support, look somewhere else. I think of these shoes as the alternative to the 5 finger shoes, just more comfortable and looking like a real shoe. I use them every day for walking. I wouldn't recommend them for running because of the lack for any support, but for walking they should be great.

I ordered the new Mizunos and ran a 1/2 marathon in them on Sunday. The shoes felt good, they feel more like a 'real shoe' than the H streets. I will continue to run in H streets but will definetely use the Mizunos for wet or hilly runs, the traction is much better.
