Women's Asics GEL-Cumulus 13

When it comes to running, looks don't matter...it is all about support, and how the shoes feel. These are the best running shoes I have had and the reference to walking on clouds is accurate. I normally wear a 7 in regular shoes, but I needed an 8 in this shoe. Love them for running, and they actually do look pretty good. But I would buy them regardless of how they look, just because they feel so good. My daughter wore these shoes to run a marathon...and bought another pair because they are so comfortable. Highly recommend them.

I wear this pair primarily for the kickbox cardio class I am taking. I needed a pair of shoes that has more cushion than some other running shoes they have out there, a pair of shoes that kind of hold my feet in place for balance when I am kicking with my feet during my exercise. I have tried on Gel-Cumulus 11 & 12 in the store, but I found Gel-Cumulus 13 has more of "cushiony" feel to my feet when I jump up and down than the other lines of Gel-Cumulus, it is as if Gel-Cumulus 13 pair has more "shock" absorbancy, if that makes sense. This pair of shoes also feels light on my feet. For some people, this pair might feel kind of tight, my recommendation is to wear thinner socks or go 0.5 size higher, depending on what you will be wearing this pair of shoes for (casually, running errands, running, walking, etc)

I am a nurse and a runner. I recently purchased these shoes for work and am very happy with them. Normally my knees and feet hurt after a shift but not while wearing these shoes. I thought they were adequately supportive, but comfort was the biggest plus for me. There is a lot of cushion and stability in this shoe--will be buying a pair for running as well! I just got them last week and I hope they hold up for a while.

I bought these because I needed some new running shoes since the soles of my Reebok Zigs were looking a little worn. I absolutely love the choice of colors and I LOVE the fit! It's like wearing a cushiony glove, especially around the collar of the shoe. I sprained my ankle a month ago, and I had to lace them a little loose, but these shoes were a great support to me, esp. in the heel. It beat wearing flip-flops while I was recovering. I do advise going a half size up, because these run small. I usually wear an 8 in everything, and this was my first 8 1/2. But you know what? They are really cute, and they do not make my foot look long at all, like some shoes do! Asics is my new favorite brand of shoe.

I was running in the wrong shoe when i found this one, or should i say it found me. i went to my local running store before I ordered from runningshoes.com and got fitted come to find out i was runnning in the wrong shoe, i didn't need pronation support; i had a neutral stride and needed cushioning. i also discovered i didnt need fancy inserts anymore when i began running in this shoe. this shoe provides great versatilty in the summer it keeps my feet cool and in the winter i am able to wear my thick socks that keep my feet warm.
