Women's Brooks Green Silence

I wear these sneakers in the gym, on the treadmill, in grass, and on pavement. I generally wear these without socks. I have a size ten and they are very snug, initially could not wear socks with them (and I am truly a size 9.5). I have a wide foot although I don't generally need wide shoes. I think using these shoes to run has made my legs and feet stronger. They give me incentive. They look as good as they feel and I sometimes don't want to take them off after the gym. I wash them occasionally with hand soap. I have had them several months now but I don't run very long distances, less than 3 miles at a time. They are still in good shape and I don't need a new pair yet although I want one!

When first I tried this shoe for HIIT sprints, I was unsure of my footing because it was so light. Then as I continued running in the following intervals, I simply loved it. I will definitely order another pair. They are awesome for running stairs, sprinting, and short power runs.

Great minimalist shoe. I just wore out my Nike Frees and decided to switch it up to the Brooks. I decided to change brands because I had heard great things about Brooks and I loved the way they felt on my feet at the store. I immediately ran 7 miles and had no foot problems or blisters. Love them!

I have worn a great varieties of shoes over the years from Mizuno to Vibrams and everything in between. This is a great marriage of a shoe that has some comfort of a more built up shoe with a "barefoot" like structure. The shoes are extremely lightweight and comfortable. They allow your foot to take a more natural stride and has helped allow me to run faster and longer distances than other shoes that I have tried since a foot injury. I would certainly purchase these again and recommend them to anyone.

I'm not a heavy runner, but I got these shoes to train for a 5K. They are attractive looking and feel good. They are very light and easy to run in. I will say that some of the other reviews stating there isn't a lot of support are correct, but I think if you're looking for a light shoe that lets you feel the road, this is a good one.

i've always preferred to purchase brooks shoes ever since my podiatrist recommended it. they haven't disappointed me so far. i get alot of compliments from people about the style and when they ask me about it i tell them they are very comfortable. I got it for a really good price and the seller sent it out fast!!!

Finally! I have found the shoe I have been looking for. I have always hated sneakers that dictate my stride. These are light weight and I can feel my whole foot roll with the run. Has just the right amount of cushion, which is minimal. They feel great and my run feels faster! Awesome!!

I absolutely love the Brooks Silence Running Shoe. It is so light weight that you feel like you're running on air. The shoe is very well ventilated thus your foot won't sweat and you won't get blisters. This shoe is made for someone who has a normal foot strike because it only offers minimal support. However, this shoe does run on the small side so I suggest you purchase a 1/2 size longer than you normally wear. It is an excellent shoe for a multitude of activities. I love this shoe so much that I plan on buying another pair in the spring. Highly recommended.
