Women's Columbia Switchback 2 Omni-Tech

Thought I would have to break them in, but not needed! I put them on and they are like wearing slippers! They also look great and are true to size!

I wore these hiking shoes every day for 23 days straight on my trip. While not doing rugged hiking, I was on various surfaces including cobblestones, rocks, and gravel. I did normal tourist things in Dublin, Liverpool, Guernsey, St. Malo, Paris, Naples, Sorrento, Mt. Vesuvius, Pompeii, Rome, Venice, Verona, Florence, and Assisi. Logged in 150 miles and the shoes are still in great shape. I knew I was taking a bit of a chance to only take one pair of shoes, but they worked out superbly!

We went hiking over the past weekend at a local state forest. All the trails were nearly flooded. We found a waterfall and I was able to easily walk through/across streams without getting wet. We had packed multiple pairs of socks for our camping trip because we knew it would be storming. We didn't end up having to change socks at all because of wetness. I was able to stand in a few inches of water, completely submerging the sides of the shoes (obviously not letting the water go above the rim) without my feet and socks getting wet at all. It also stormed all weekend and my feet stayed dry.... Unlike our camping friends who tried to take advantage of every minute of sun that poked through to dry their shoes and socks. They are comfortable enough to wear on a daily basis and during wet hiking trips. I highly recommend these shoes! I am getting a pair for my sister for her birthday. She works at a nursery and walks through puddles and wet mulch all the time. They are super comfortable and completely waterproof. My favorite pair of shoes!

I bought these shoes to wear while walking my dog here in the Pacific Northwest where it rains all year long! I put them on and they fit perfectly. I wore them for a 1 1/2 hr walk and they were comfortable, with good grip and nice looking too.

Bought these shoes because they were "award winning". The are comfortable and are true to size, but I couldn't get past the fact the style was boring and generic. I know they're meant as functional shoes, but they can still be stylish, right?
