Women's New Balance 1080v2

As a "NB only" consumer, I purchased these shoes after having my gait analyzed by the local marathon shop. I was suffering from a severe case of Peroneal Tendonitis and Plantars Fasciatis, due to incorrect shoes for my purposes. After many cortisone shots, with no help, I thought my dream to walk the 2013 Boston Marathon was shattered. After being fitted to these shoes, I was actually able to walk home from the shop (about 1 1/4 miles) w/out any pain at all! Since that day, no pain or discomfort! They have been lifesavers for me- not only to be pin-free, but to continue my goal for April

as always new balance sneakers are my choice for comfort!.. the color is vibrant and really a new look that makes me "spring" into action whhen i hit the pavement !!... i was thrilled with the fast service.

I love these running shoes. I had the W1080 version from a few years back so I knew they would be a perfect fit and super comfortable but the color is what sold me. I love, love, love the orangey-red color and get tons of compliments.

This is a fantastic shoe! I have an extremely wide foot and normally wear double wide. For the first time in quite awhile I was able to run without thinking about my feet. They are light and yet cushioned. The look is nice too. I am very impressed!

Bought these for my wife - she loves them. Very lightweight, very comfortable, no breaking in needed, durable, and attractive. New Balance is the superstar of running shoes... you get what you pay for with these puppys.

I have worn NB running shoes exclusively since 1981. I run +/- 30-35 miles per week. I have a high arch and instep and am a neutral runner. I have been tested on the New Balance machine in the stores. I wear a 10.5AA Women's NB running shoe. I wear my shoes 3 months and then retire them to work around the house shoes. I started wearing this shoe (1080v2) March 15, 2012 and starting last week I started getting mild, but uncomfortable shooting pains in my feet, ankles and calves all day and night long. I did not feel them or notice them while I was running. I thought I had a mild flu, but the symptoms never diminished but increased, and 2 days ago I went back to my old 1080s. Today the shooting pains are gone and I am trying to buy another pair of the old 1080s before they are gone. Also, the V2 is very uncomfortable for someone with a high arch/instep (which most neutral runners have) because it is too tight and the shoelaces are way too short. I can barely tie my shoes with nothing left over to double knot. FYI, in all the years of running, I have never had a running injury - knock wood.
