Women's New Balance 993 Military

I am a tall, heavier runner who is a mild over pronator. These shoes are heavenly. I bought them to use at the gym, especialy on the treadmill, and they are so sharp looking and comfortable that I've been wearing them as street shoes, including a trip to San Francisco which was 10 days of non-stop walking. They run a little large by sneaker standards (they are more true to a street shoe size--no need to size up with these). I love them. My only quibble (and it's minor) is that they do make my feet look a little bigger than normal.

I have had these shoes for quite a while and they look as good as the day I purchased them. They are comfortable and look great! I will definitely purchase them again! I work on concrete floors and I wear them often to work. They are great support and my feet and legs aren't tired at the end of the day.

Great shoe for stable running. Fits well and wears very well, haven't had to buy a new pair in over 7 months and I run 20 miles a week. Don't change a thing this is a great shoe.

This shoe is well worth the price. I have been suffering from leg and muscle pain for several years now. I have had these shoes for about a month and can teach all day and be pain free when I come home. I can finally fall asleep when I lie down at night. My legs and feet used to cramp, twitch, and ache all night and I would wake up with numbness. I no longer have any of these symptoms and truly believe it is a result of these shoes. I am looking forward to payday to buy them in another color :)

I have ordered two pairs of running shoes size 7 width 2E previously that fit well. I've also bought at least 3 pairs that fit the same description from the new balance store in creve cour, mo that also fit well. but this shoe, same size, does NOT fit well. Way too narrow! I wore them two days in a row for work at the hospital and my left foot is killing me!

These shoes are a major disapointment--they do not have enough cushioning on the bottom. I wear running shoes because I'm on my feet all day, but these do not have much sole support. They are also clunky and too wide.

I have extremely flat feet and have suffered for years with standing. My knees, heel of the feet, calves would hurt, cramp, and throb after a long day of standing or walking. I went into NB to just see because my feet hurt so bad as I was driving. Well i was greeted by the manager who told me about the 993 model. He then directed me to the foot anaylsis machine that took pictures of my pressure points. He suggested the Superfeet Cooper DMP arch support and after trying on these shoes with the arch support, I FELT LIKE CRYING..WITH JOY. I felt my body realign, the pressure was off my heels, I felt GREAT. To test the shoes I went shopping, which is normally a chore due to the walking and standing. No cramps, no throbbing, no swelling. I can still cry over finding such a wonderful product because I have suffered for so long. Thanks to NB 993 for SALVATION FOR MY FEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!
