It has a good fit, provides excellent protection in the sole and toe box, and manages to feel fairly light and nimble for all that comfort.

In the past I have only bought extra stability shoes, however, I was really open to trying these since taking on running in more minimalist shoes. The shoes are durable, I haven’t had any issues with seams opening or the soles breaking down.

Before trying these shoes out, I honestly thought of Pearl Izumi as a cycling company, but they have branched more into running in recent years, and I think their shoes deserve some honest attention. I know I was impressed, and being one of "those" people that is in love with the shoes I wear day-to-day, to give up those shoes over and over and wear the Pearl Izumi's, not just for a couple of test runs, but for some real mileage, means a lot. I intend to keep using these shoes for my shorter runs until they've hit their mileage limit! I only wish they were a little bigger so I could put some real mileage on them!!!

I tried this product in a practice run and fell in love with the shoe. I love the wide toe box and the comfortable feeling it gives me. The shoe does wear out a little faster than other shoes I've had. I have also increased my milage sinced I have purchased this shoe. I no longer have problems with black toe or with my shins

I would've liked them a lot better if I would've gotten them 1/2 size bigger. They fit, but, when I run my toes really smack the front hard. I would recommend these shoes only if they get them 1/2 size bigger. They look great!

Gorgeous. Absolutely the coolest running shoe I've ever tried on. On the other hand, one of the most uncomfortable. Too bad. Sending it back.
