Women's Salomon XA Pro 3D Ultra 2

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. They don't give my feet pain and blisters like many other shoes do. LOVE the quick-lace system and how well these shoes breath. Never thought my feet could ever be so happy.

These shoes are great on the trail or pavement. They are extremely comfortable and airy while supporting my foot and ankle well. Great buy!

No doubt about it Salomon makes a great shoe. No break-in time needed, comfortable right out of the box. First time out, went about 6 miles in 80 degree weather--No sore spots or rub areas. Good support and good tread on bottoms. They definately run about a half size big. Most shoes I wear a 9, so that is what I ordered and they are a little big--I think and 8.5 would have been fine. So if I wear them with my custom orthotics (they take up a little extra room) they feel fine--a little roomy but that's okay especially in warmer weather. Also love the color and the style.

This is a very sturdy shoe. I love slipping them on because they are something my feet can rely on for comfort and stability. The quick lace system is awesome now that I'm used to it. I got them to take with me on my 11 month, 11 country backpacking trip. I'll report back in a year or so with how they hold up! :)

Finally shoe that covers my toes with more then just "mesh". My problem is that no matter what running shoe I buy there is a whole in the mesh after 2-3 weeks( and yes I do keep my toenails short trimmed). I definitely think I wont have this problem with this type of shoe.There is firm material covering the whole toe area. Excellent , excellent ! I usually run in very light runners and this one seems a little heavier, so the first 20 Minutes was a getting used to experience but then they really grew on me. Extremely comfortable and very well cushioned. I also like the fact that there are no laces to tie. I make triple ties in my laces and sometimes they still open or the end of the lace pinches my leg hate that one). Not with this shoe, you pull on the button and make it as tight as you wish and it stays there the whole time, awesome. I always have a good fit if I order shoes 8.5 so same for this one . 8 would probably fit as well but I am glad I got the 8.5 as I wear thicker socks in winter. I think this shoe will last for some time!
