great shoe, but not the best for arch support

I bought this shoe based on a review I read to the effect that a patient had arch surgery or was contemplating it, had weak or flat arches, and was on her feet all day. The physician recommended these shoes. Previously, I wore Saucony Stabil shoes and they were far superior to the Omni 10 for arch support and cushioning. The shoe gets high marks for motion control, looks, and ventilation. When it is time for a new pair though, I am going back to Stabil. I recommend this shoe if you want a good motion control shoe, but if you want superior arch support and motion control, go with Stabil. I had arch pain for 40 years, and it magically disappeared when I began wearing Stabil. I shouldn't have changed shoes, but I thought I could do better (ugh, so human). Live and learn.

The ProGrid Omni 10 is nicely upgraded from the Omni 9. There is just enough extra toe room to make it the most comfortable Saucony I have worn with all the stability I need in a running shoe.

I just had flat foot surgery on one foot and awaiting the surgery for the other foot. My doctor recommended these shoes. They are so comfortable! I am a teacher and am on my feet all day. My recovering foot nor my foot in need of the surgery hurt. It is also a very attractive shoe.

The Women's ProGrid Omni 10 is so comfortable, it's like running on air. I have a narrow heel and this shoe just hugs. This shoe is so comfortable to run in that I purchased a second pair to wear at work. I highly recommend this shoe and happy running/walking.
