A versatile support shoe, the Saucony Guide 9 delivers superior cushioning and flexibility, but also maintains a lightweight fit. The FlexFilm upper is highly breathable and prevents overheating on longer runs, and the RunDry lining wicks away moisture to maintain a cool, comfortable interior.       Great running shoe though a little expensive. I have been a saucony fan for several years now but this one has a big improvement over the Guide 8

      Good cushioning and very good looking but not much arch support which is something that I may have missed in my research. I wanted these to work but my toes ached terribly in these shoes and the balls of my feet burned.

      These are the best running shoes I have purchased yet! Light, but still have enough cushion for a comfortable run. I'm usually a 9, but these run small. I purchased a 9.5 and could have used a 10. I will be buying these in purple too!!!

      I got my first pair of Sauconys a few years ago when I started getting serious about running distance. To be more specific, my first pair were Guide 7s which I love dearly, and are not only at the end of their life but are also discontinued. That said, the Guide 9s are the newest iteration and are as equally as fabulous as their predecessors. Feels like they added a bit more cushion in the arch and at the ankle but that's certainly not a bad thing. I think the Guides are also running bit smaller now. In the past, I've had to go with a size 8 but with the Guide 9 I went down to a 7.5. Great shoe company - great shoe.
